Civil Service College

(CSC) Singapore is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. Its mission is to develop people for a first class public service.

CSC brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning.

CSC programmes and services are practitioner-focused. With access to public sector thought leadership and line management, much of the training is facilitated by highly experienced practitioners who speak with authority and offer first-hand knowledge and experience. Through its programmes and services, CSC aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for a networked government for the Singapore Public Service.



Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA)



Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) is the premier public sector training organization in Sri Lanka, for the development of knowledge and improvement of skills in Public Administration and Management.  In addition to management training activities the SLIDA also undertakes Management Consultancy Services and Research to develop identifiable functional areas of management as well as review and improve organizational systems.

This is a body corporate established under the Parliamentary Act No. 09 of 1982.


The main objectives of the institute constitute.


a) Development through Training, Knowledge, skills and behavior in public officers.

b) Organizing training courses in the fields of management and public administration and award certificates/ diplomas.

c) Developing a competent cadre of supervisory staff throughout public service.

d) Assisting public sector agencies in reviewing and improving their organizational management systems.

e) Undertaking consultancy assignments and research activities etc.


In order carry out these functions, we have a highly competitive, and trained team of experts specialized in different fields of management skills.  As such SLIDA is in a unique position in the areas of training, management consultancy and research activities.



The Governing Council is the apex body of the organization where all policy matters are decided.  The Director assisted by three Additional Directors form the executive arms of SLIDA.  The Additional Directors are directly responsible for;

a) Training, Research and Consultancies.

b) Post Graduate studies.

c) Corporate Affairs.


Consultants with specialization on subject mattes are grouped into centers and each centre functions under a Head, In conducting training programs, management consultancies or research studies, the required specialists are chosen from the respective centers to carry out the required task.

In addition the services of external resource persons too are obtained depending on the professional skills and subject specializations.


Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)


The Asian Institute of Technology promotes technological change and sustainable development in the Asian-Pacific region through higher education, research and outreach. Established in Bangkok in 1959, AIT has become a leading regional postgraduate institution and is actively working with public and private sector partners throughout the region and with some of the top universities in the world.

Recognized for its multinational, multi- cultural ethos, the Institute operates as a self-contained international community at its campus located 40 km (25 miles) north of Bangkok, Thailand.


Besides the usual labs and academic buildings, the main campus includes housing, sports, and medical facilities, a conference center, and a library with over 230,000 volumes and 830 print and on-line periodicals. All serve to fulfill the AIT mission:

The Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI) of the Maldives singed an Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U) with Asian Institute of Technology, on 25th July  2011to expand Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI)’s programmes in order to develop a more professional civil service that provide quality service to the Maldivian public.
